Despite a string of set backs, British singer Liam Payne has confirmed he will be releasing music in the very near future.
The One Direction superstar initially announced his debut album was being released in September 2018, however, after he split with Cheryl Tweedy things were put on ice.
Liam, admitted he no longer connected with the tracks and the whole album was indefinitely shelved.
Instead, he released four track EP, First Time.
Now Liam, who has been teasing shots from inside recording studios for the past week, has opened up about his new music.
The Strip That Down star said: “I’ve got to work and collaborate with some of the most amazing people so far and that just keeps happening.
“We have three new songs that I’m working on and some great friends who have written some more amazing songs for me.”
However, while there is no denying he hopes to dominate the charts once more, Liam also appears to be determined to make it big in Hollywood movies. Oo-er!
Earlier this year the hunk revealed he had secretly auctioned for Stephen Spielberg for a part in his remake of West Wide Story.
While he didn’t get the part, Liam said he is proud he made the final five.
Revealing his acting ambitions, he added to Billboard: “I never really saw it coming myself, honestly.
“I put a couple auditions into some things and had a little bit of success with them.
“I didn’t quite get some of the roles but it’s been fun.
“I just want to do action films… I need to do something like really action-based.”
The move would mirror that of bandmate Harry Styles who starred in Chris Nolan‘s 2017 blockbuster Dunkirk.
Determined to prove he is more than a one trick pony, Liam has also branched out into fashion.
He has been announced as the first brand ambassador for Hugo Boss’ spin-off line HUGO.
On top of that, Liam will drop a capsule collection with the company in July.
